Dale W. Nelson, 16 of El Paso, Illinois, passed away on August 21, 2017 at 11:06pm at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois. Dale’s service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 12noon at the Crossroads Chapel, 1049 JC Pkwy, Bloomington, Illinois 61705, with Pastor Mark Wallace officiating. Following the service burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 10-12noon on Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Ron Nelson or LaVonne McCombs. Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, Illinois is in charge of arrangements. Dale was born on May 15, 2001 in Peoria, Illinois the son of David Nelson and Rachel McCombs Nelson. Dale is survived by his parents; David Nelson of Normal and Rachel Nelson of Bloomington, brothers and sister; Daniel Nelson, Lindsey McCombs, Drew Nelson and David Nelson, grandparents; Malcolm and Joanne Nelson of El Paso, IL and James McCombs of Bloomington. Also surviving are numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He is preceded by his brother; Dustin Nelson, his sister; Heather Nelson, grandmother; Becky McCombs an Uncle; Greg Nelson and his great grandma Lillian Mae Nelson. Dale was a member of Crossroads Chapel, Bloomington and was a student at Normal West Community High School. He was a NASCAR fan. He enjoyed socializing and being around people and putting smiles on their faces and spending time with his Grandma and Grandpa Nelson and his Pepaw Jimmy. 

He was loved by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed by all his family, friends and loved ones.
